Sun, Sea and Sihanouksville

After the trauma of the boat and the excitement of barbecued fruit bats me and Darren headed South to the mountains and the coast (Sihanouksville) with our friend Neng. We spent 2 days eating breakfast on the beach, drinking cocktails and eating coconuts, swimming in crystal-clear blue waters, swinging in hammocks, dodging crabs and generally having a very nice time of it, thank you very much.

Of course all good things must come to an end, and we returned to the chaos of Phnom Pehn and Juana and Owen.
Tommorrow we head home to good old Blighty, to the rain and the cold (mmmmm cold, we dream about cold) and proper chips.
Tonight we have one last farewell evening with our Cambodian compadres. We have been invited to Neng’s lawyer friend’s house for a proper Cambodian drinking sesh…
Tommorrow I have a feeling that we might be a little poorly, which of course will be put down to the emotional wrench of leaving SE Asia, where a life-long love affair has begun.
